Less sewing, more shopping. :)

Well, no, I haven't been doing a lot of sewing.
Duh, right?
No photos = no fun.
Well, I've had a little fun. :) I'm just about done with my fourth redwork block (pitiful, I know) and of course I'm thinking ahead to what I'd like to work on next. I got a little carried away on what was supposed to be just a very little shopping trip to pick up a few things...instead I didn't get a thing on my list but ended up purchasing 8 yards of this...
It's soooooooo Thimbleberries-ish isn't it??? I love it. I tend to buy 1/2 yards or 1 yard at a time, but I know that this will be a border and a backing. It's some of that premium quilters cotton from JoAnn Fabrics, (Stone Hill Collection/Prarie Home/Floral). Now I'm on the hunt for a quilt to make with it. I'm hoping I can use some things that I already have and not go buy more - but I suppose it wouldn't be all that terrible if I had to go shopping again! :)

Hello Valerie,

Thank you for visiting and entering the giveaway!

Love your new fabrics -- and no, it's not THAT bad to have to go shopping for fabrics again! ;)

LOVE the fabric.

I've emailed you about bears as well....which would be a great excuse to go shopping again...

You're right, Valerie - it DOES look Thimbleberries-ish! Almost like one of the Cottagewood prints from a little while back. It was featured in the pattern Garden Glory, which you can see here:

I really like this pattern, and plan to do it in Cranberry Harvest fabrics eventually ;) Can't wait to see what YOU do with that fabric!

Your fabric purchases look very nice to me. Can't wait to see what the garden greenhouses do for your seeds.
