Little Bit of Hand Quilting

I've been hand quilting every evening after I get my chores done, and the kids settle down. My camera doesn't focus up close very well, but you can see the pretty effect that's developing...

I'm using double strands of green embroidery thread, and doing free hand baptist fans in a sort of echoing pattern. I am feeling proud and thought I'd share. :)

Very nice...I have hand quilted but my arthritis makes it very slow going and I am always in a hurry to finally finish something!

I don't know what a free hand baptist fan is . . . but all that texture on your quilt sure looks nice. Dad

Looks very nice. Do you do al your quilting by hand?

I didn't even know that there were stay-at-home Mums anymore, so I guess your kiddie-winkles are lucky, and I hope that they realise it.
