Wow, June was the last time I updated! Wheew! It's been a while. So much has happened. It's been a roller coaster the past few months. A few weeks ago we discovered that I am pregnant, and we are expecting a new baby sometime in May of next year! I'm so ecstatic, yet at the same time cautious because I have had several miscarriages in the past.
I am saddened to say that nursing school has been put on hold for a while. I chose to do something short term while the babies are small, where the schooling is a little less intense. I enrolled in cosmetology school and having been enjoying the last month there. I truly miss nursing but I think in a few years when the kids are all older it will be something I will come back to. Until then I hope to enjoy the creativity that cosmetology allows me and all the great people I am meeting while doing hair. :)
On the sewing front, shocker, I haven't even TOUCHED my sewing machine in months! I miss it so much though. I am going to go see what you ladies (and fellows) have been up to these past few months and hopefully get inspired to get sewing. ;) I'm thinking...fall pumpkins will be a good way to start!

Congrats on the baby! I thought I was going to have a May baby too. Somehow he favored June more. ;)
Congrats on the baby! Mine will be making his arrival 2 weeks from today!
I had missed your posts and was thinking about you just the other day. Congratulations on the new baby and you are right, you will make it back to school. I went back after my kids were raised and I was a better student for my enhanced perspective. All the best and thanks for checking in!
Congratulations on the expected arrival. I do hope you can get back to nursing school but right now, the kids are important.
And I hope you get some sewing time soon!
Babies and families come first, absolutely.
We'll always need nurses...
