Linda's Quilt - Progress

I have made some progress on Linda's quilt but because of the location of my long arm and the lighting it will be difficult to photograph well until I pull it off the frame - until then here are a few progress photos - best I could get!  This quilt was stunning before I began working on it - and the quilting is just realling bringing it even more to life!!  Truly, this will be such an heirloom...I am so lucky to get to quilt it!

BIG NEWS COMING!!!

I am so very excited - ecstatic - thrilled - OVER THE MOON - to share with you all that Patricia Ritter of Urban Elementz has offered me the opporunity to co-design a few pantograph quilting patterns with her!!!  The first design she is working on is based off of the concept I recently doodle-quilted onto Laura's quilt (pictured below).  I am so excited and grateful for this amazing opportunity and cannot wait to share more with all of you!  STAY TUNED!!!  :)

Laura's Quilts - Free Hand Allover Quilting

Just sharing a few shots of Laura's quilts!  She requested a medium density all over E2E design similar to what I've done in the past for her.  Here is what I came up with to coordinate with her quilts.  I will try and get a couple full shots when I pull the second quilt off the frame today!  :)

These are both all over edge to edge free hand designs.  ;)

Beginner Free Motion Quilting Video Series

Hello!  Here I am!  I received an email from Chris this morning asking if I was still alive as the blog has been a little quiet.  Yes!  I'm here!  I'm alive!  I have been working on some projects that I cannot share with all of you just yet, but I will have some fun things coming up soon.  Today I'm working on Pats quilt, but in the mean time for those of you who are interested in free motion quilting - I made a video!

Lisa, a Home Economics teacher who lives only a few hours away from me contacted me recently about classes.  I LOVE teaching small classes but at the moment my life is not set up to teach as I would like - but I thought videos might be a fun alternative!  Over the next several months I will be uploading videos to my YouTube Channel on learning to free motion quilt.  I uploaded the first video today!

These videos will share my own personal preferences and recommendations for FMQ.  I hope they are helpful to Lisa and others out there!

I hope you are all getting some quilting done out there and I will be back soon with progress pictures of Pat's quilt!
